Five teenagers with attitude were recruited into a war against the evil Rita Repulsa by an alien named Zordon. These teens were given the ability to transform into superheroes, each with unique weapons as well as the power to command giant robots resembling prehistoric animals. Providing muscle to the team with his Power Axe was Zach, who commanded the mighty black Mastodon Zord. They were the Power Rangers.
